Fragile bone raises surgical risk
Bone fragility is linked to increased complications following orthopaedic surgery, including implant displacement and surgical failure.
Assessing site-specific bone quality before and after surgery could help surgeons select the right approach and implant for each patient, and monitor recovery.

Aim to reduce the risk of implant displacement and failed surgery.
Status of development
Promising early results
Early studies using Medimaps' proprietary Texture Research Investigational Platform (TRIP) at the knee and lateral spine with DXA show promising results, including implant pull-out analysis. TBS Ortho™ remains a product under development and is not available for clinical use or sale.
